Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Ignigrade LLC ("we", "us") collects when you use Ignigrade (the "Service"), how we use it, and who we share it with. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Information we collect
- Account information. Basic profile information from your sign-in provider, such as your name and email address. If you chat without signing in, your plans and chats are kept under a random guest identifier instead.
- Information you enter. Information you provide to use the Service, including financial information and your chat messages, and what the Service produces from it.
- Usage information. Information about how and when you use the Service.
- Device information. Information about your device and browser, such as your IP address, and identifiers associated with them.
- Communications. Anything you send us, such as feedback.
How we use it
- To provide the Service: running simulations, saving your plans and chats, and answering your chat messages.
- To enforce chat usage limits.
- To prevent abuse and fraud.
- To understand how the Service is used, fix problems, and improve it.
- To respond to your feedback and support requests.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only as follows:
- Google. Google handles sign-in. Your chat messages, together with the plan data the AI needs to answer them, are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate replies. The Service and its database are hosted on Google Cloud.
- Cloudflare. If you chat without signing in, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that your browser isn't an automated bot, and receives your IP address and browser information to do so.
- Content delivery networks. Pages load some scripts from jsDelivr and Google, which receive your IP address and browser information when serving them.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, or when needed to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. As part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
Cookies
- A cookie with a random identifier that links your interactions to the same browser.
- A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.
- Google's sign-in button may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy.
We don't use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
We don't track you across other websites. Google and the content delivery networks described above may receive information about your visit under their own privacy policies. Because we don't track you across sites, we don't respond differently to browsers' Do Not Track signals.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information, plans, and chats for as long as your account exists. We keep usage logs and usage records for as long as needed for the purposes above — including enforcing usage limits, preventing abuse, and meeting legal obligations — which can be after your account is deleted.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your information under local law. Contact us to exercise them.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information — for example, we store only a hashed form of sign-in tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll change the date at the top when we do.
